A new name for tried-and-tested traditional quality
The Blumberg factory was established in June 1970. Lutz Blumberg became Schwarzwaldhof Fleisch und Wurstwaren GmbH on 1 May 2007. All employees were integrated into the new company and the original product range continued to be produced according to the tried-and-tested standard for top quality.
High skilled employees
Around 285 Schwarzwaldhof employees work at the factory and approx. 95 employees work in our retail outlets. Thanks to internal further training and additional training measures, we make sure that our employees are highly skilled in all areas on an ongoing basis.
Excellent quality
Schwarzwaldhof is certified according to the International Food Standard (IFS) for its quality management in production. And we have been awarded numerous DLG medals for the excellent quality and first-rate flavour of our Black Forest ham and sausage specialties.

This year's Anuga, the world's biggest Food & Beverage exhibition, was a full success for Schwarzwaldhof. Unique specialties from the Black Forest were displayed for the international visitors on a platform of 100 square meters. The low fat shepherds' sausage was awarded Top Innovative Product Anuga 2011. The national TV stations ARD and ZDF broadcasted the "Morning Magazine" directly from the stand of Schwarzwaldhof.
